ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, TALCOTT MOUNTAIN SCIENCE CENTER – Full-time/Part-time
The Administrative Assistant, Talcott Mountain Science Center provides administrative support to two members of the senior leadership team: the Director of Science & Innovation and the Director of Development & Marketing. This work will include, but is not limited to, assisting with clerical tasks, facilitating communications, and maintaining event and meeting schedules. The Administrative Assistant, Talcott Mountain Science Center also oversees the organization’s reception area, welcoming guests (including parents, vendors, etc.) and answering phones. MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR – Part-time
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator assists in promoting Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy’s mission and programs through various channels. This role collaborates with the Director of Development & Marketing to develop and implement effective and innovative strategies for print, digital and event communications. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator works to plan and execute mission-driven marketing campaigns to increase awareness, encourage participation in programs, and support fundraising efforts. This role is also critical in establishing creative, brand-consistent content and approaches in all media efforts, including social media platforms, as well as maintaining the organization’s website. This role is part-time (25 hours per week) and allows for a hybrid work environment (the split between remote and in-person work will vary according to organizational needs).
