Skygazing on Talcott Mountain
October 3 @ 6:30 pm
This program is for adults and families with children ages 4+ (children must be accompanied by adult).
Join us for an unforgettable evening of stargazing at Talcott Mountain Science Center’s mountaintop campus on October 3 at 6:30 PM! You’ll begin the evening in our planetarium with a guided tour of the constellations and celestial objects visible in the night sky. Then you’ll take a short walk outside to our observatories for viewing! Use our powerful telescopes to view Saturn, Venus at sunset, and possibly even catch a glimpse of early Draconid meteors!
Please remember to dress warmly in layers; we’ll be outdoors for much of the evening. This is a perfect opportunity for astronomy enthusiasts and curious minds alike to experience the wonders of the night sky in a beautiful setting high above the Farmington Valley!
$25/Adults (Ages 14+)
$15/Children (Under 14)
