Join our award-winning FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams “Talcott Thunder” and “Talcott Lightning” for the 2023 season!
This course for students in grades 4-8 includes six weeks of instruction in our mountaintop robotics lab, complete with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots, and expert coaches to help you design, build, troubleshoot, code and compete in the 2023 season. We’ll be in at least one regional competition, with a chance to attend the State Tournament based on performance. FLL is a great way to learn coding and engineering with nine student teammates, compete with students statewide, and learn teamwork, collaboration, and gracious professionalism.
Pre-registration required, please no walk-ins or same-day registration.
Meeting dates: Saturdays – October 7, 14, 21, 28; Nov. 4 & 11
When/Where: 10 AM – 4 PM at Talcott Mountain Science Center, 324 Montevideo Road, Avon, CT
Competition slots: Nov. 11, 18, Dec. 2
Tuition: $550 for six (6) weeks plus any competition dates
