In Science Takes Flight | Gr. 3-5:

What goes up must come down – eventually! Learn about how things stay aloft, both natural and manmade. See how nature has inspired modern designs of airplanes, rockets, and other flight vehicles. You will get to design, build, and launch your own rockets! Includes a half-day field trip to a nearby park for rocket launches ($30 field trip fee included in tuition).

School might be out for summer, but learning never stops at the Talcott Mountain Science Center! Classes run from 9:00 am – 4:00pm daily. Small class sizes on our mountaintop campus ensure hands-on instruction and individual attention.
