Moth Night @ TMSC

Everyone recognizes the butterflies, dragonflies, and other winged critters that explore during the day… but what about those wonderful winged wonders that fly about at night?

Don’t miss Moth Night @ TMSC — a unique chance to touch, photograph and learn about moths and other night-time critters!

Join us for a family-friendly event (ages 5+, please) on Friday, July 26, from 7:30-10:00pm, to celebrate National Moth Week with expert entomologists! With special lights to attract moths and other nocturnal insects — experts will guide you through a fascinating, yet often unseen, world on our mountaintop campus. You’ll be able to touch, photograph, and learn about a variety of species.

The evening includes an informational presentation, identification guides to take home, and fascinating stories about these amazing creatures. Participants should bring a headlamp or flashlight, and arrive with bug spray already applied.
