Talcott Mountain Academy (TMA) is proud to celebrate the students who received recognition at the 2026 Connecticut Student Writers (CSW) Magazine and Contest, hosted by the Connecticut Writing Project at UConn. This competition invites K-12 students to submit original writing and art, with selected works published in the CSW Magazine.
This year, several TMA students earned gold and silver awards, along with honorable mentions, for their outstanding work. We love seeing our students take their ideas and talents beyond the classroom. The wide range of pieces recognized in this competition reflects the imagination, insight, and effort our students put into their work.
