School might be out for summer, but learning never stops at the Talcott Mountain Science Center! During Summer of STEM Adventures, students embark on week-long journeys in the topic(s) of their choosing so they can stay engaged and active all summer long.
In Green Engineering | Gr. 3-5:
How can the wind power your house? How can we harness the energy of water? Can you cook with sunshine? Switch on to wind, water, and solar energy! Discover how electrons energize lights and motors as you build circuits and learn how to tap into nature for power!
Classes run from 9:00 am – 4:00pm daily. Small class sizes on our mountaintop campus ensure hands-on instruction and individual attention.
