Ecology for Homeschoolers | Ages 10-13
October 3 @ 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
$480
Ecology is all about interactions between organisms and their environment. In this class students will get hands-on experience learning about local biodiversity while observing nature on our mountaintop campus. We will discuss the issues of invasive species, find and identify them, and learn what can be done to stop them. We will also focus on threatened and endangered species, learn about local and worldwide regulations, and what can be done to save them. This class is a great mixture of hands-on activities, discussion, and debate – to get students thinking about the natural world around them.
Class runs from 9:30am – 1:30pm, Fridays, October 3 – November 7.
