DESCRIPTION:Everyone recognizes the butterflies\, dragonflies\, and other winged critters that explore during the day… but what about those wonderful winged wonders that fly about at night? \nDon’t miss Moth Night @ TMSC — a unique chance to touch\, photograph and learn about moths and other night-time critters! \nJoin us for a family-friendly event (ages 5+\, please) on Friday\, July 25\, from 8:00-10:00pm\, to celebrate National Moth Week with expert entomologists! With special lights to attract moths and other nocturnal insects — experts will guide you through a fascinating\, yet often unseen\, world on our mountaintop campus. You’ll be able to touch\, photograph\, and learn about a variety of species. \nThe evening includes an informational presentation\, identification guides to take home\, and fascinating stories about these amazing creatures. Participants should bring a headlamp or flashlight\, and arrive with bug spray already applied. \n$25 per car\nREGISTER ONLINE\n*Space is limited; Registration required to reserve your spot!\n(Payment will be collected at the gate)
