Lights, Camera, Action! | Gr. 3-5

School might be out for summer, but learning never stops at the Talcott Mountain Science Center! During Summer of STEM Adventures, students embark on week-long journeys in the topic(s) of their choosing so they can stay engaged and active all summer long.

In Lights, Camera, Action! | Gr. 3-5:

Ever dream of being a producer, director, or star of your own production? Now’s your chance! In the first week you will work collaboratively to write scripts, create wardrobes, scout locations, and determine casting. In the second week you will film, edit, and add effects. In the end you’ll have movie files to take home and share!

This is a two week course that spans Weeks 3 (7/15 – 7/19) and 4 (7/22 – 7/26). Classes run from 9:00 am – 4:00pm daily. Small class sizes on our mountaintop campus ensure hands-on instruction and individual attention.
